Yardstick Training relaunches as We Know Training

Effective January 31, 2020, Yardstick Training is now We Know Training. We are excited to announce this transition to our customers and continue to be a leading provider of online training in regulated and public-serving industries.

With the beginning of a new year, we are excited to being this new chapter in our journey as your choice for online training providers, with the official announcement of the rebranding of Yardstick Training to We Know Training.

Founded in 2005, Yardstick Software Inc. has its roots in Edmonton, Alberta with the vision of becoming the first choice in online testing and training solutions for regulated and public industries. Since its launch the Yardstick training business has grown exponentially, acquiring several companies and emerging as a leader in the online testing and training industries.

With the beginning of a new journey as We Know Training, we aim to continue to grow, while refining our focus on what we do best – online training. This journey began with the separation of We Know Training from Yardstick, and the creation of a new set of principles and goals for us to ensure we best serve our clients and continue to grow in the future.

A renewed focus

For Chris LaBossiere, CEO of We Know Training and former CEO of Yardstick Software Inc., it was time for the Yardstick businesses to re-evaluate their business model. “We grew big enough that we hit critical mass,” said LaBossiere. “It was time to hone in on our various areas of expertise. It became clear that each of our separate business divisions had unique goals and customer needs. From Yardstick Assessment Strategies and Yardstick Research to Danatec and Grand River Occupational Health and Safety Inc., there were significant differences in how we do business, and how we best serve clients.”

The Yardstick leadership team identified that there was a necessity to separate the multitude of businesses under the Yardstick umbrella in order to refocus on what we have always done best. For We Know Training, this was online training.

We believe our new name will reflect our goals and the commitment that we have made to deliver the industry’s best online training services and courses. With this new beginning, We Know Training is more focused than ever on our goal – making online training more accessible, more reliable, and more secure than ever.

Moving into the future

We want this change to be as fluid and easy to navigate for our clients as possible. Our courses and online services will be uninterrupted, and no access changes will occur for our valued customers. These changes also mean that our customer care team is more equipped than ever before to help you with any questions or concerns that may arise during this transition time.
